Icarus I

My first Icarus project. 

The idea was.. how tall can I go?  Well - in this case, about 19 stories tall.   Skin is entirely glass with internal supports for each floor.  The back view shows an elevator tower (hollow throughout) which allows lighting wires to travel from one floor to another.

A motif repeated in the Icarus projects is a small-footprint lobby with the building extending to a wider footprint. 

   

How tall can you go with Lego?    Actually quite tall.  You still must account for the stability of the structure, especially lateral stability.
